Key Activities – Shell (East Africa) –
Project Manager of the implementation of JD Edwards financial modules in 4 East African countries working closely with senior finance management for East Africa.

Key Activities – Shell (West Africa) –
Consultant for the resolution of a number of integrity issues within JD Edwards.  Project Leader (Financials) for planning and implementing the merger of Shell systems with a recently acquired competitor working closely with senior finance management for West Africa.

Key Activities – Shell (Caribbean & Central America) –
Project Manager of the implementation of JD Edwards financial modules in Dominican Republic.  Consultant responsible for resolving integrity issues in Jamaica and Panama.

 

Shell Oil Company (Shared Accounting Centre)

Client Shell (Caribbean and Central America)

Responsibilities – Planning overall implementation strategy and timetable.  Meet country board of managers and plan standardization of JD Edwards systems across the region. Agree staffing levels with board of directors in each country. Delivery of a number of countries into the Shared Service Centre in Guatemala.  Evaluation of ‘non-standard’ countries for implementation – Colombia and Mexico.

Key Activities – Plan numbers of recruits and training in stages within the Centre.  Plan sequence of delivery of 18 countries into the new Centre.  Allocate responsibilities for delivery across 12 project team members.  Plan deliverables and milestones.  Present plans and objectives and get sign-off from local country management teams.  Deliver 2 countries into the new Centre.  Resolve issues and act as client relations manager for countries delivered.  Overall time spent on project 2.5 years
